Gazing Upon The Glory of the Lord
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. - 2nd Cor. 3:18
Seeing God’s work in the lives of others requires us to focus with a Spirit-led perspective. When we acknowledge and celebrate His hand upon them, we encourage them on their journey and uplift their faith. Conversely, if we fixate on their weaknesses, we risk discouraging them and missing out on God’s grace at work.
It’s vital not to compare our spiritual walk to theirs. Instead of focusing on their struggles, we celebrate their progress. By trusting in the Lord’s ability rather than their capacity, we can confidently pray for His transformative touch to continue moving in their lives.
As we remember God’s blessings in our own lives, we build our faith for His work in others. Gazing upon the glory of the Lord within ourselves and those around us, our perspective shifts from life’s challenges to His ongoing interventions.
