Glorify God
"Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." – 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NKJV
Reflection
We belong to God—spirit, soul, and body. He has paid the ultimate price for us, calling us to live in a way that reflects His ownership and glory. As temples of the Holy Spirit, an invisible sign rests upon us: God’s property. This truth reminds us of our sacred identity and inspires us to walk in alignment with His will.
Application
When you are tempted by wrong influences, remember who you are and whose you are. Resist the pull of temptation by leaning on the power of the Holy Spirit within you. Take care of yourself—spiritually, emotionally, and physically—as an act of worship to God. Let your life shine as a reflection of His glory, showing the world the transformation that comes from belonging to Him.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for purchasing me at the ultimate price and calling me Your own. Help me to honor You in my body, spirit, and soul. Strengthen me to resist temptation and live a life that reflects Your glory. Thank You for dwelling within me as the Holy Spirit. I yield to Your work in my life, from glory to glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
