Stand Firm in Faith
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. – 1 Peter 5:8-9
Reflection
Spiritual vigilance is essential as we stand firm against the enemy’s attacks. The adversary’s goal is to weaken us through fear and doubt, but we resist him by remaining steadfast in our faith. God’s Word is our anchor and His power our shield.
Application
Stay alert and trust in God’s strength to overcome every attack. You are not alone in this battle—your brothers and sisters in Christ also endure and overcome. Be encouraged, knowing that God’s victory is already yours, from glory to glory!
Connection
Lord, help me stay vigilant and steadfast in faith. Strengthen me to resist the enemy and walk in Your victory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
