Trusting His Purpose in All Things
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. - Rom. 8:28 NKJV.
God works all things together for good. Every person and every part matters, and He speaks to each of us who have a role to play in His grand design. Understanding the bigger picture helps us faithfully fulfill our part. Whoever He leads us to connect with, He has already prepared accordingly.
The expression “we can’t see the forest for the trees” reminds us that we are stronger together. Relying solely on what one “tree” can do might lead to fear, loneliness, and doubt. Recognizing that we’re part of a larger “forest” brings faith, unity, and a sense of expectancy. We cannot water one tree without it affecting the others. The Lord plants us with purpose, and we cannot transplant ourselves into a place where He is not at work.
Often, things we don’t understand are happening because God is working on areas unseen. Though His work is not always obvious, we can trust it is for the best in everyone’s circumstances. When it’s time to move forward, we can depend on what He has prepared. God has an amazing way of bringing everything together, from glory to glory!
