The Sacrifice of Praise

Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. - Heb. 13:15 NKJV.

In our walk with Christ, we often encounter obstacles from the world, the flesh, and the devil. Yet, it’s essential for us to press through and live in a place of victory. One powerful way to do this is by offering praise to the Lord, especially when we don’t feel like it. Praising God carries a strong anointing and becomes a sacrifice that pushes aside our fleshly desires. It requires us to take every thought captive and follow Him obediently, regardless of the cost.

As we offer praise and thanksgiving to God, we see obstacles dissipate. The heavy burdens we carry are replaced by a joyous garment of praise. When we lift His holy name and exalt Him, our weapons of spiritual warfare are sharpened, our trust in His miraculous ways deepens, and we are encouraged and strengthened in our faith.

Praising the Lord invites His presence into every situation we face. It dispels the heaviness that may surround us, revealing the unseen impact that things have had on us. By praising Him, we shake off the dust and declare that He is worthy, holy, able, mighty, awesome, and actively working in our lives. In doing so, we press through every stress and mess,  from glory to glory!
