The Glory of His Presence
"Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated ‘God with us.’" – Matthew 1:23 NKJV
The presence of the Lord in our lives is truly amazing and the most important reality to always keep in mind. When we know God is with us, we seek Him above all else—not this or that. As we do, we create space for Him to lead us in His perfect will, and everything else aligns under His leadership.
It’s in moments when we feel unworthy of His presence that we discover He is there to carry us through. It’s in seeing our weaknesses that we realize the power of His strength. When we think we don’t deserve His glory, we find His glory shines regardless. When we feel we have nothing to give, His grace overwhelms us as He gives Himself to us.
In His presence, there is fullness of joy. No hindrance can remain—fear, worry, depression, or loneliness must flee when we know that God Himself is with us. Trusting in His presence draws us closer to Him. If God is for us and with us, who can be against us? Oh, the glory of His presence—from glory to glory!
