Loose Him and Let Him Go

“Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, ‘Lazarus, come forth!’ And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, ‘Loose him, and let him go.’” – John 11:43–44 NKJV

Reflection:
Jesus didn’t just raise Lazarus—He commanded freedom from what still bound him. Similarly, even after spiritual awakening, some things still hinder our growth: fear, distraction, guilt, or discouragement. These grave clothes are often invisible, but they are just as restrictive.

Application:
When you encounter resistance in your spiritual walk—in prayer, worship, or reading the Word—it’s a signal to press in. The enemy tries to convince you to give up, but Jesus says, “Come forth!” and “Walk free!” As we take even the smallest step in faith, those barriers will break!

? Connection:
Thank You, Lord, for the victory over every hindrance in my life. Help me press through the barriers and trust in Your power to break every chain. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
