Seek First the Kingdom of God
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you," (Matthew 6:33 NKJV).
The Kingdom of God is the realm in which God's will reigns. As we seek spiritual food, through reading the Bible and prayer, we seek the Kingdom of God. We learn His will and the Spirit of God helps us surrender to His leadership.
Often, we seek worldly solutions for our needs, yet the key lies in spiritual sustenance. Prioritizing spiritual growth over physical or emotional desires allows us to experience God's comprehensive provision. Our greatest need is Him. The key is to seek His righteousness, not ours.
We are in right standing with God because of what Jesus Christ has done for us on the cross. The more we face our unworthiness, the more we question whether we deserve for Him to meet our needs. Let's embrace our position in Christ and trust in His provisions, from glory to glory.
