Trusting God's Leading

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. – Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV

Reflection
The way the Lord leads us does not always make sense. He may prompt us to say no when yes seems logical or to step forward when waiting feels safer. Trusting God leads to obedience that defies human reasoning. Too often, we assume we must say yes to every opportunity, but true obedience means discerning and rejecting what does not align with His direction.

Application
Take time today to pause, pray for discernment and sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Seek divine confirmation and ask for the courage to wait when necessary and the wisdom to act when prompted. Each moment of quiet waiting and bold action is part of God’s grand design for your life.

Connection
Thank You, Lord, for sharpening my hearing and increasing my confidence in You. Forgive me for leaning on my own understanding at times. Help me acknowledge You quickly and pay attention to Your leading. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
