Not From God
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." - 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV

The spirit of fear is not from God; He gives us a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. The enemy uses fear and intimidation to keep us from walking in what we have in Christ. Believing in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and His fruit empowers us to walk in them and overcome fear.
Application
When you experience fearful thoughts, take them captive by remembering the Spirit who dwells in you. Yield to Him. Cling tightly to your relationship with Christ. Let His love embrace you, His peace guard your mind and heart, and worship Him, from glory to glory!
Connection
Lord, Thank You for having given me a spirit of love, power, and a sound mind. Help me walk by faith in that reality, stand on Your word, and counter fear with time in Your presence. I give You praise, honor, and glory, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
