The Bread of Life
I am the bread of life. He who comes to me shall never hunger, and he who believes in me shall never thirst. - (John 6:35)
Jesus identifies Himself as the Bread of Life, signifying He is our ultimate source of nourishment. Just as bread sustains our physical bodies, Jesus provides the sustenance our souls crave. True fulfillment is found in Him alone. When we embrace Christ fully, we receive a life rich in purpose, joy, and peace. He alone can lead us to a deeper, more meaningful existence.
Reflect on where you have been seeking spiritual, emotional, and physical satisfaction. Have you been looking to things that leave you empty? Open your heart to Jesus. Invite Him to meet your needs and nourish your soul. His presence is more than enough!
Thank You, Lord, for being the true Bread of Life. Please help me to seek You every day for spiritual nourishment and trust that you will provide for all my needs, both seen and unseen. Envelope me with Your presence and Your love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
