We Do Not Wrestle Against Flesh and Blood

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. - Eph. 6:12

Our battles are not against flesh and blood. The genuine conflict we face is against spiritual forces. It’s easy to become entangled in conflicts with those around us, not realizing our real enemy is unseen. Recognizing this early is crucial, so we don’t waste time battling the wrong things. God sees what we cannot, and He protects us as we seek Him and surrender our ways to Him.

Diversity often brings adversity, and the enemy takes advantage of areas where we are unprepared to fight. We might know our weaknesses and be vigilant there, but the enemy tempts us in unfamiliar territories. To stay protected, we must watch on all sides, especially our blind spots. The enemy is deceitful, and his schemes are often closer than we realize.

Attacks will come unexpectedly and from various sources. We must take heed and walk in wisdom. When we sense danger, we should humbly and swiftly remove ourselves from its path and run to the Lord, reaching out for His grace. Faced with the invisible enemy, we discover only Christ is invincible. We war by His grace and power alone, from glory to glory!
