Walking in the Light of Christ
But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. - Eph. 5:13
Have you ever been in a store where the lighting was so dim that you couldn’t clearly see the items? You might think a piece of clothing is one color, only to discover it’s different when viewed under better light. In the same way, walking in the light of Christ enables us to see the circumstances and people in our lives with clarity.
When we come to the Lord in prayer, seeking to discern the truth, we can trust that He will bring clarity. It may not happen immediately, but His timing is always perfect. He removes our misconceptions and increases our confidence in Him. It is through our fellowship with the Lord that our relationships with others become free from what is hidden in the natural. In His glory, what is real becomes clear.
When we praise the Lord, pray, worship, read His Word, or fellowship with other believers, His light shines even brighter. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Light. As we abide in Him, deception may try to hinder us but will ultimately fail. We shall know the truth, and the truth will set us free, from glory to glory!
