God Gives the Increase

I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.  So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 1 Cor 3:6-7 NKJV.

Often, it’s in the moments when we think we’re doing little that God is working the most. When we rest in the Lord, His glory rests upon us in increasing measure. The fruits of our obedience and the increase of His glory in our lives may not be fully realized until His Kingdom is fully established. Some plant, some water, but only God gives the increase. We trust Him for all He does because of who He is.

Rather than trying to figure out the specifics of what God calls us to do, we walk step by step in what He calls us to be. What matters most is our transformation into the image of Jesus Christ. As we grow in Him, we trust that what He calls us to do will naturally flow from who we are in Him. Our call to be places us on call to do.

The anointing we receive is for transformation. As we partake of the character of Christ, He increases His anointing upon us to accomplish His work. Indeed, greater works will we do as Christ is free to be in us and through us. Our faith in who He is brings forth His marvelous works, from glory to glory!
