The Love of God in Christ
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39
Besides being unconditional and immeasurable, God’s love is unbreakable. Trials and tribulations cannot separate us from the love of God. Nothing can separate us from the bonds we have with Him. His love keeps us together and makes us more than conquerors.
Even things in the heavens, in our future, or in death cannot separate us from His love, not even ourselves. We stand in awe when we find He is still there caring for us after we failed Him; in awe of His presence after we have distanced ourselves from Him; in awe that when we think we have lost His love; it remains strong and forever secure.
The more we experience His faithfulness, the more we are persuaded of His love. We call upon Him and trust in His ability to help us. God’s interventions and powerful ways remind us of His unlimited protection and provision. His love is like a river in our hearts, a never-ending flow. Nothing can destroy our faith, diminish our love, or render us hopeless. This love increases our faith, increases our love for Jesus, and strengthens our hope, from glory to glory!
