Are We Free from Condemnation?

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. - Rom. 8:1
Have you ever found yourself regretting something you did or said, feeling like you shouldn’t have done it? The hardest offense to confront is often the one we hold against ourselves. We judge, convict, and declare ourselves guilty, even when the Lord has already declared us innocent. In Christ Jesus, we are free from self-condemnation, a freedom that helps us break free from addiction, low self-esteem, and countless other struggles.
When the Holy Spirit convicts us, He does so with healing and comfort. God forgives and frees those He loves, but Satan tries to accuse us, wanting us to agree with his lies. In Christ, we are liberated from accusations, insecurities, and the lies that once held us captive. There is no condemnation for us now; we are no longer bound by anything that tries to hold us down.
We can trust in what Christ accomplished on the cross. He carried our condemnation, paying the penalty for our sins. Let’s stand firm in the freedom we have in Him. God sees us clothed in the righteousness of Christ, not in filthy rags. So, let’s not accuse ourselves; God has declared us not guilty! We set our minds on the things of the Spirit, not on the flesh, from glory to glory!
