Walking in the Light of Christ

Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.- Rom. 13:13-14.
A husband comes home late, and his wife’s insecurities flare up. She accuses him of infidelity, and jealousy tries to stir up conflict. But instead of responding in anger, the husband yields to the Spirit of God. He reaches out to her with love, calms her fears, and speaks life over her in Jesus’ name. His response reveals the glory of God and defeats the enemy’s plan.
When the character of Christ is reflected in our behavior, we glorify Him in every aspect of our lives. The trials and conflicts we face become opportunities for God’s work in us to shine forth. As we walk in peace and respond with Christ-like love, others witness the transformation that God is doing within us. It’s in the face of opposition that the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit becomes clear and undeniable.
At the same time, we recognize areas where we are still in need of growth. Our focus must remain on what Christ has already done in us, not on what still needs to be accomplished. As we trust Him to work in the areas where we fall short, we can extend grace to ourselves and others, knowing that He is continuing to mold us into His image. Let's walk in the light of Christ and embrace the transformation, from glory to glory!
