The Lord Will Perfect That Which Concerns Me
The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. - Ps. 138:8.
What are we concerned about? The enemy tries to either distract us with trivial matters or overwhelm us with what truly matters. But how comforting to know that God is deeply concerned about everything that concerns us. He is actively bringing each detail to a perfect completion, enabling us to stand victoriously.
God’s love and care surpass our understanding. Failure is not our expectation, for His plans always come with the promise of completion. If something doesn’t appear to be working out, it’s because He is orchestrating something better. We can trust that He will finish what He started as we obey His guidance. By continually surrendering our plans to Him, our faith is strengthened, and our praise is stirred.
We are God’s workmanship, and His mercy endures forever. He will not abandon the work of His hands. He who has already done so much for us will surely persevere until the end. His timing is perfect, and our future in Him is secure. He is faithfully bringing all things to completion, from glory to glory!
