Sealed with the Holy Spirit
You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O LORD, You know it altogether. - Psalms 139:2-4
God is omniscient. He is all knowing. He knows everything! Knowing that God knows helps us trust Him with the unknown. We only know in part and instead of trying to know it all, can rest in growing in the knowledge of who He is. We discover His attributes and stand in awe of His majesty.
God knows every little thing, including the number of hairs on our head and each tear that we shed. We can trust Him for all that pertains to us. He knows our thoughts, words and actions; past, present, and future. He loves and cares for us, knowing all about us. When we question the why, where, when or what of circumstances in our lives, we can go to Him with childlike faith and release them into His able hands because He knows the answer. He is the answer.
We pray God’s will, for His wisdom, and for His ways with assurance that He is working on the best outcome for our lives. Our Heavenly Father knows best. As we pray for His will, we humbly submit to it in advance because we trust Him. We can see Him in our blind spots. In our steps, we follow His. In our growth, we know Him, from glory to glory!
