Walking On Our Road to Victory

So the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore. - Ex. 14:30
The waters that parted for the children of Israel are the same waters that drowned the Egyptians. Our enemies cannot travel the road to victory Jesus has prepared for us. After the Israelites crossed the Red Sea, they looked back and saw the Egyptians defeated. We, too, must see our enemies defeated.
The lies of Satan often try to drag us back to things from our past: a failed goal, an addiction, a toxic relationship, or a shameful situation. But through the victory of Jesus on Calvary and the power of forgiveness, we can stand in His grace. The person we used to be, before our new birth in Christ, is dead. We must view our old nature as defeated.
By proclaiming ourselves dead to sin but alive to God, we disarm our adversary. Through Christ, we bounce back from trials and tribulations, knowing that what has been conquered in His name can no longer threaten us. As we see our enemies destroyed, their power is nullified. With the glory of the Lord as our rear guard, we keep walking on our road to victory, from glory to glory!
