Accepted in the Beloved

“… to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved." - Eph. 1:6 NKJV.
Past rejections can fuel a fear of rejection, creating barriers that hinder us from moving forward with holy boldness in the things God has called us to do. This fear often brings with it a dread of defeat, limiting our willingness to step out in faith.
However, knowing and believing in the unconditional love and acceptance we have in Christ sets us free. When the fear of rejection drives our choices, our expectation of success diminishes, causing us to act out of fear rather than faith. Sometimes, we must make decisions even when rejection seems likely, trusting that our desire to please God above all will dissolve that fear. Even our missteps are used by God to lead us deeper into His ways.
Forgiving what wasn’t done is as vital as forgiving what was done—whether by others, ourselves, or even what we’ve perceived from God. Forgiveness frees us from the chains of the past, allowing us to live freely in the present and without fear for the future. In Christ, God not only forgives us but fully accepts us. As we walk in this truth, we are continually transformed, from glory to glory!
