Praise the Lord At All Times
I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. - Psalm 34:1 NKJV
Throughout the course of our lives, we experience both moments of joy and sorrow, periods of struggle and rest, instances of breakups and reconciliations, as well as times of worry and peace. We either respond with shouts of hallelujah or shouts of despair. As we walk with the Lord, our shouts of despair become shouts of hallelujah!
As we praise God for who He is, our trust in Him increases and our praises rise amid our afflictions. This kind of praise pulls out the roots of fear, tears down walls and makes our enemies flee. The enemy tries to make us believe our trials are here to stay and to steal our praise. He cannot! We express our faith in Jesus, the greater one, through our hallelujahs, at all times!
When circumstances challenge our faith in the reality of Christ, let us not merely continue to praise God; let us intensify our praise! We remain focused on Him, seeking His presence, even during adversity. Our expressions of love towards Him persist. Constant praises bring permanent joy, rest, and trust, from glory to glory!
