Let's Stop So God Can Start

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. - Mat. 11:28.
As we walk in salvation, we do so by grace through faith. In every situation, we must remember to let go and let God take control. We stop our own striving so that He can begin His work. When we step aside, God moves freely, accomplishing more than we ever could in our own strength.
God can speak to our loved ones when we stop trying to convince them. He helps us overcome addiction when we stop trying to do it ourselves. When we cease our search for a mate, God may bring one unexpectedly. What feels like giving up is really giving in—surrendering to God and letting Him take over.
When we stop relying on our own efforts, God’s power is unleashed in amazing ways. We believe, receive, hear, obey, and then we rest. Jesus is the vine, and we are the branches. Our role is to abide in Him, to trust and surrender everything. As we rest in Him, it becomes easier to realize that it’s all about His power and not our own. Let's stop so God can start, from glory to glory!
