He Counted Me Faithful
And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry. - 1 Tim. 1:12.
When we are faithful where we are, God opens doors for more in our lives. Our labor of love is never in vain in the Lord. He sees everything we do for His glory and knows when we go the extra mile. We find joy in going beyond the norm, and with His spirit of excellence working through us, we can expect promotion in due time.
Paul’s gratitude for God’s enablement is linked to being counted faithful. To be enabled in the Bible means to be empowered. This empowerment goes beyond natural ability; it is God’s supernatural strength working through us. When our focus is on being faithful to Him, we can trust that His power will show up and work mightily in us.
As we represent the Lord in all we do, we serve with excellence, knowing that God sees what others may not. He rewards our faithfulness, both in private and in public. Even when others don’t notice or affirm our efforts, God does. With His divine ability, He entrusts us with more responsibility. Faithfulness leads to divine empowerment, from glory to glory!
