Counting God's Blessings

"Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken" (John 21:11 NKJV)

Counting God's blessings is a powerful way to deepen our appreciation for Him and all that He does. As we intentionally count and reflect, we begin to grasp the vastness of His work in our lives, nurturing our faith for the future.

Life's busyness often prevents us from pausing to count God's blessings. A fruitful practice is to reflect at the end of each day, recounting His provisions-spiritual, emotional, and physical. Recognizing His abundance strengthens our trust in Him, even in areas where there's still a need.

In our pursuit of more, we can easily overlook today's riches. We have much to rejoice over: the obvious blessings, the hidden ones, and even blessings in disguise-those things that didn't happen. If we find ourselves counting more trials than blessings, it's time to recount, shifting our focus from tomorrow's worries and yesterday's regrets to the present abundance. Let's celebrate and trust in the Lord's faithfulness, embracing His goodness, from glory to glory!
